It’s shaping up to be a hot summer this year, both temperature-wise in the nation’s capitol, and career wise for the eponymous owner of this blog. This weekend (starting 6/10/2011): Djing at Teatro on Friday, Muse on Saturday, and Barcode on Sunday.

This week in events:

The weekly Beat Market party at Rock N Roll Hotel continues this week with special feature dj, Dj Ratt Moze in for Dj Cold Case who is in New Orleans showing his breasts for beads. We’ll be rocking some old school and new school hip hop jams with $2 PBRs, $3 Rails and $4 Grand Mariner & Cokes.

This Friday we’re throwin down with the biggest baddest party on H st, the Epic Dance Party. I’ll be spinning my patented mix of everything from 90’s rock & hip hop to house and funk classics. Get there early for Dj’s Ratt Moze & Cold Case who will be opening up starting at 9 p.m.

Okay, I’ve been neglecting my blog for a hot minute, but I really need to get back on it.  So here’s what I’m up to this week:

Thursday night at the Rock N Roll Hotel, me and Dj Cold Case are throwin down some hip hop, some electronica, some pop, some eighties, and a very special 15 minute set of 1998 Noreaga album cuts.  The drinks are cheap ($2 PBRs & $3 rails) so come by and have a drink with us and maybe shake your ass a little.  Check it out on facebook.

Saturday I am very pleased to announce the first installment of STOP FAKIN’, featuring DJ’s Chris Klang, Ratt Moze, Cold Case, and of course myself at The Red and the Black (1212 H St NE).  We’ll be rocking the crunkest assortment of electronica sounds from around the world, from bmore to electro to smooth chicago style house.  This is a dance-heavy affair so come ready to throw back some shots, hit the floor, and party the night away!  Check it out on facebook.

Policy Friday – 4th of July Kick Off Party

This Friday I am once again teaming up with Kevin Lance Murray and the good folks at Policy to bring you a night of super fun time:

I’ll be rockin from 10-2 playing a mix of old school hip hop, 80’s and some top 40.  I will also probably do a down and dirty funk set real quick, as well as the MJ set (and I was doing that before he died)

Video Premiere + Futurecop! Live This Sunday at DC9!

I know this is a case of the chicken-before the egg, but I am premiering my first music video this Sunday at DC9.  The video is for my song called Take It To The Streets, which just for shits, I’ll leak right here, right now:
